(posted Jan. 31, 1:00 p.m.)- The Nicaraguan-American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) on Wednesday elected its new board of directors for 2013, electing Diego Vargas Montealegre as its new president, replacing Yalí Molina, who served for the past two years.
Roberto Sansón is AMCHAM’s new first vice-president and Edgar Fonseca is the second vice-president. Alfredo Antonio Artiles was elected secretary and Bosco Noguera will be the new vice-secretary. The treasury will be administered by Dionisio Cuadra and Elsie Rivas.
The directors of the 2013 board are Yalí Molina, Gerardo León-York, Dagoberto Arias, María Mercedes and Ernesto Varela, and Francisco Castro is the new fiscal.
