The monthly Granada Finca Market is here again, and this month’s featured vendor is Jim of Pearl Lagoon Coconut Oil Company. Processed by hand by a local community and delivered by a determined few all the way from Pearl Lagoon by bus, and sometimes by foot, this coconut oil can be purchased in sizes from 2oz to 5 gallons. You can read more about this company’s story at www.organic-oil.weebly.com.
All your regular vendors will be in attendance this month with smoked ham, pastrami, a variety of sausages, fresh cheeses, artisan breads, gourmet honey, herbal supplements, and handmade jewelry.
Come out this Sunday, March 10th, from 10am until noon at Hotel La Bocona on Calle La Libertad, 2 blocks west of the central park in Granada. Your local farmers and craftsmen look forward to meeting you!

I and my girlfriend have been using The Pearl Lagoon Coconut Oil for over a year! It is by far the finest quality oil I have found in Nicaragua, or anywhere as a matter of fact. It is the only oil we use for cooking, massage and my girlfriend uses it often in her hair. I hear they are working on (everything coconut) cookbook! I can hardly wait!
